Who We Are
FemmeHealth Alliance (FHA) is a Swiss non-profit association founded to close the gap between women’s health innovation and the capital markets that can scale it.
Our Mission
Our mission is to catalyse $1 billion into women’s health innovation by 2035. We are building toward that number deliberately, programme by programme, partnership by partnership, conversation by conversation.
Since our founding, we have convened over 100 investors and operators across private roundtables, webinars, and international events. FHA is a founding member of the Women’s Health Investment Consortium convened by the World Economic Forum, and has collaborated with the McKinsey Health Institute on programming at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. The work is institutional in ambition and deliberately independent in structure. FHA holds no commercial mandate. Its only mandate is the mission.

FHA is led by professionals who have spent their careers at the intersection of capital markets, institutional finance, and organisational leadership and who chose to bring that expertise to bear on one of the most significant structural gaps in modern healthcare.

Maryann Umoren Selfe
Founder & President
Maryann is a finance professional with more than twenty years advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors on capital allocation across public and private markets.
Most recently Head of Investment Solutions at BIL Suisse, she led investment strategy and advisory for the bank’s private wealth client base. Prior to that, she spent two decades at Credit Suisse and UBS, directly managing $700 million in client assets and holding investment advisory responsibility across $5 billion in mandates, spanning fund selection, manager selection, and multi-asset portfolio construction across market cycles.
Maryann founded FemmeHealth Alliance because the market inefficiency was structural and the solution required institutional infrastructure.
Alliance Council
The Alliance Council brings together senior professionals from across capital markets, clinical practice, policy, and innovation to shape FHA’s programmes, partnerships, and strategic direction. Council members are selected for the depth of their expertise and their commitment to FHA’s mission of moving institutional capital into women’s health at scale.

Emmanuelle Lecomte-Brisset
Emmanuelle is a pharmaceutical and regulatory leader with more than twenty-five years of experience advancing biotech and pharma innovation across global markets. She currently serves as SVP, Global Head of Regulatory Affairs and Safety at CSL, and previously held senior regulatory leadership roles at Shire, EUSA Pharma, and Biogen.
Stella Ekogbulu
Stella is a finance and leadership professional with more than twenty years of experience across treasury management, corporate finance, and organisational leadership at Bombardier Transportation, Tyco International, and Fidelity Bank. She now leads Leadright Consulting GmbH, working as an executive coach, leadership trainer, and keynote speaker with senior professionals and organisations across Europe.
Deboh N'Diaye
Deboh is an investment and corporate finance professional with experience spanning asset management, thematic investing, and mergers and acquisitions across Switzerland and the United Kingdom. She currently serves as Client Portfolio Manager at Robeco, and previously held investment roles at Pictet Asset Management and Deloitte Switzerland and Deloitte UK.
Advisory Board
FHA is assembling an Advisory Board of senior leaders from across institutional finance, venture capital, private equity, clinical research, health policy, and corporate governance. Advisory Board members will bring external expertise and independent perspective to FHA’s programme development and strategic partnerships.
